VELUX blinds can be operated electrically or manually, to let you control the amount of incoming light and heat.

Note: VELUX Blinds are made to fit VELUX skylights and roof windows only -  Standard sizes available. Blinds for old/different VELUX products might  be ordered as special requests (waiting times apply).

VARIOUS TYPES OF SKYLIGHT BLIND

 

Pleated Skylight Blind

VELUX Pleated Blinds provide privacy by dimming the incoming light, for manual openable and fixed skylights. The blind can be set in any position and is fully retractable. They can be operated by an extendable rod control for out-of-reach applications or a short rod control for blinds within reach. The Pleated Blind is translucent white in colour, and is made from dirt-resistant treated cotton.

 


Venetian Skylight Blind
VELUX Venetian Blinds provide added light control, privacy, and protection against heat. They can be operated both manually or electrically, depending on your needs. The pitch of the blades can be adjusted, and the blind is fully retractable.

The VELUX Venetian Blind is egg-shell white on the convex side, and metallic on the concave side. It is made from aluminium, and has a heat resistant THERMO-STOP coating.



Blockout Skylight Blind

VELUX Blockout Blinds provide the ultimate in light and heat protection. The blind can be stopped in any position, and is fully retractable. It uses an integrated control system, and requires an electric motor. The VELUX Blockout Blind is white on the internal side, and silver on the external side. It is made from light-tight polyester, and has a heat resistant THERMO-STOP coating on the outer side.

 

If you don't have an electric VELUX openable skylight but a manual or fixed one you can get an electric blockout blind. You just have to add a control system WUX 101 (for 1 blind) or a WLX130 (for up to 3 blinds).
